For the kids
A children's play area with swings, slides and sand-pit is available, so
parents may relax knowing their young ones are happy and well
supervised. We believe happy kids make happy parents !!!
Outdoor Barbeque
This is a favourite of many customers. Roast Kerio lamb or goat meat is
a speciality and can be prepared in your own special outdoor area.
Grass-thatched shelters called "El Niño" and "Monkey House" are very
popular for barbeque venues and may have to be booked in advance on
busy weekends.
For a mouth-watering experience take the roast meats with a spicy sauce
and fresh Kerio salad. And, if you have any room left, finish off with a
dish of your favourite ice-cream.
The waiters, Jacklyne, Tom and  Mwangi, will always be close at hand
to take your drinks and special orders.
Walking and Orienteering
There are many walking and hiking routes to chose from centred around
Kerio View.
A gentle stroll can be taken to the old Kamariny Stadium,
3 km away, where young, up-and-coming athletes are often to be seen in
training.

For the more fit and adventurous there is the chance to trek down into
the Kerio Valley ----- a descent of 1000m in 10 km which exhibits the
great changes in climate and vegetation associated with changing altitude.

An orienteering course, situated around the small town of Iten, was
established some years ago by the International Orienteering Association.
